School Holiday Workshops
Thank you to all the participants in Rosemary & Time’s first week of classes and craft.
Our very first customers were Ros and Dave. They plan to cover the seats of a dining set they purchased from a secondhand shop. Their first ever covered seat is ready to be sat on when you visit the shop.
Surprisingly, crochet was the most popular of the School Holiday workshops. There has indeed been a resurgence of this granny craft. We made chains and some tiny starter stars some participants started the amigurumi, but most worked on the mastering the beginning stitches. Everyone left with materials and equipment to make the Little star amigurumi. Hopefully we can see these later.
Bath bombs came in second and were part of Jemima’s Birthday Party.
The model for this tote bag must be very impressed. A lot of careful preparation went into it. The subject was sketched and coloured beautifully to bring to the workshop.
